Our Story

At Drishti Foundation, we believe that sight is not just a sense – it's a gateway to opportunities, independence, and dignity.

From the tea gardens of Upper Assam to the remote villages of Arunachal Pradesh, we're working tirelessly to ensure that quality eye care reaches those who need it most. Drishti Foundation, based in Dibrugarh, Assam, is a registered charitable trust that focuses on providing accessible and affordable eye care to rural communities in Upper Assam & Arunachal Pradesh. Founded by Dr. Ramesh Agarwalla, a veteran ophthalmologist with over four decades of experience, the organization has made significant strides in the fight against preventable blindness.

The foundation is 12A & 80G registered, making donations eligible for tax exemptions.

Under Project Vision, we have screened over 1.56 lakh individuals, restored 28,000+ sights through surgeries, and reached 3,700 villages with free screenings and awareness campaigns.
